Starting with a love of nature , painting and textiles and an endless curiosity of “how do they do that ?!” I landed in the world of silk flowers .. and spending the day with the extraodinarily talented Anne Tomlin who taught me the basics of this beautiful craft along with the gentle guidance to experiment and explore my own ideas .

Along the experimental path an idea was formed to create the wedding cake design for my daughter . I loved this project and although I was itching to create blooms in vibrant eye catching colours , my very classy daughter insisted on a palate of classic white with a very soft hint of peachy pinks here and there !
